Central MN Community Baseball League
SRYBA participates in the Central Minnesota Community Baseball League (CMCBL). This league is made up of players ages 9-16, regardless of ability.
SRYBA requires that Players attend school within the ISD47 District or live within the district area.
Ages
9-16 (3rd Grade - 10th Grade) Teams are determined by age/grade as of May 1st of the Season Year.
When
The Season starts towards the end of May and runs until the end of July.
Where
Home games will be played in Sauk Rapids/Rice. These teams will also play other teams in their division (West Division), including Becker, Foley, Luxemburg, St. Augusta, St. Cloud, Sartell, and Waite Park.
CMCBL EAST TEAMS CONSIST OF THESE COMMUNITIES AND ADDITIONAL GAMES OR YEAR END TOURNAMENTS MAY BE LOCATED IN EAST CENTRAL, ISLE, HINKLEY, RUSH CITY/BRAHAM, MILACA, PINE CITY, OGILVIE, AND MORA
Practices
Practices will be on alternate nights than games as scheduled per your coach, which typically are an additional 1-2 nights per week.
Games
Game nights will typically run according to the age group below. However, this can vary due to field availability.
9U (3rd Grade): Monday / Wednesday
10/11 (4th & 5th Grade): Tuesday / Thursday
12/13 (6th & 7th Grade): Monday / Wednesday
14-16 (8th, 9th & 10th Grade): Tuesday / Thursday
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT/GEAR
SRYBA will provide a t-shirt jersey and a baseball hat.
There will be team bats & baseballs provided. However, you are more than welcome to purchase your player their own bat.
Your player will be required to provide a baseball glove, baseball pants and helmet.
Recommended items, but NOT required: cleats & batting gloves.
