PLAYER EVALS 9/13
✨ All eligible players are encouraged to attend tryouts, regardless of skill level or the level they wish to play.✨
⚾ Purpose of Evaluations
Player evaluations are used to determine which players comprise the Gopher State Baseball League (GSBL) teams and which players comprise the Central Minnesota Community Baseball League (CMCBL) teams.
Players must attend evaluations to be eligible for GSBL teams.
Evaluations/tryouts will also be used to help evenly distribute talent among CMCBL teams to promote competitive balance.

🕒 Evaluation Times
Players must attend at their designated time/grade level for the upcoming 2025–26 school year.
9:30–11:45 AM — Current 7th graders and up
(Players cannot turn 17 years old before the May 1st cut-off)
11:45 AM–2:00 PM — Current 5th–6th graders
2:00–4:15 PM — Current 3rd–4th graders
📌 Important Information
Registration: Each player must be registered before attending evaluations.
Fee: $20 (non-refundable). Discount codes will not be offered during January registration. Evaluation fees cover the cost of outside evaluators.
Arrival: Check in 30 minutes prior to your assigned evaluation time to allow for warm-up.
Parent Access: Evaluations are closed to parents.
Attire: No identifying names or numbers should be visible on clothing.
What to Bring: Players should bring water and their own equipment (glove, bat, cleats or tennis shoes, and helmet).
🌧 Weather Plan
Should there be inclement weather on the day of evaluations, communication will be sent regarding a make-up date on Sunday, September 14 (same location and times).
